About Dalia

Hi, I’m Dalia! I am so glad you are here. You have taken the first step of finding relief and healing and you should be proud to have come this far.

A little about me - I absolutely love being a therapist! I am passionate about helping people find the strengths inside of themselves to create change. I believe that everyone is capable of growth and healing and I am here to help provide a loving nudge or cheer you on when necessary.

Others would describe my therapy style as warm, supportive, and collaborative. I prioritize meeting you where you are and strive to create a safe and culturally sensitive environment for all of my clients.

My work is informed by Health at Every Size® and research-backed interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion. Learn more about these approaches here.

Outside of work I enjoy exploring the Texas Hill Country with my husband, drawing, journaling, hiking and going on adventures with my Schnauzer puppy, Luna.

Experience & Training

My specializations include the full range of eating disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake or ARFID), body image distress, life transitions, anxiety and depressive disorders. I spent the first few years of my career counseling individuals and families at a family service center in San Antonio, TX and at the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient level of care at an eating disorder recovery center in Austin, TX. Both of these experiences greatly enrich and inform my work.

Services & Fees

30-minute consultation | Free

For new clients, I offer a free initial 30-minute phone or face-to-face consultation. During a consultation, I am happy to answer any questions you may have for me. We can discuss things like what to expect from therapy and what you are looking for in a therapist. We can also briefly discuss the concerns you are having and your reason for seeking counseling to ensure that we will be a good fit for working together.

90-minute holistic biopsychosocial intake session | $215

This session is different from a consult session. This initial session allows you to relay important history and background information, discuss in detail what brings you to counseling, and what you hope to gain from counseling. It also includes initial treatment planning and collaboration with other providers, such as psychiatrists, dietitians, and other providers.

50-minute individual therapy session | $185

Individual session fees include DBT phone coaching between sessions (if therapist offers this) and collaborations with other providers, such as psychiatrists, dietitians, and other therapists.

50-minute couples and family session | $215

Family session fees include DBT phone coaching between sessions (if therapist offers this) and collaborations with other providers, such as psychiatrists, dietitians, and other therapists.

80-minute individual therapy session | $215

Individual session fees include DBT phone coaching between sessions (if therapist offers this) and collaborations with other providers, such as psychiatrists, dietitians, and other therapists.
