Position Overview:
W2 position - part-time and full-time positions available.
Therapist will provide outpatient individual, group, family/relationship therapy to clients of Healgood.
Therapy services include treatment of children, adolescents, adults, relationships, and/or families.
We are currently looking for therapists who are dedicated to providing high-quality mental healthcare and are willing to be a part of our collaborative team that values respect, authentic connection, continued learning, and fun.
Preference will be given to fully licensed clinicians who are trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Healgood is hiring licensed clinicians for W2 part-time and full-time positions. We are looking for professionals dedicated to providing high-quality, ethical care to clients, with a strong foundation in both ethical decision-making and legal standards that guide clinical practice. Provisionally licensed clinicians may also be considered if they have experience with DBT or Eating Disorders. This is a hybrid position, offering the opportunity to provide in-person and virtual services from our Northwest Hills (Austin, TX) office or from your home (virtual only).
Minimum Requirements:
Must be licensed in Texas: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC-S, LCSW-S, LMFT-S, Psychologist, Provisionally Licensed Clinicians (LPC-Associate, LMSW)
Experience counseling children, adolescents, and/or adults with at least one or more of the following presenting concerns: Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, Chronic Dieting, Body Shame, Body Image, LGBTQ+, Gender Identity, Family System Concerns, Relationship Concerns, Emotion Regulation, Anxiety, OCD, Mood, Grief and Loss, Perfectionism, Shame, Trauma, PTSD, Substance Use, Adolescent Development, Parenting (New Parents, Parenting Teens, Parent Coaching), Perinatal Mental Health, Life Transitions
Familiarity with ethical standards and decision-making as defined by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council and other relevant state regulations.
Ability to understand and apply laws and regulations governing clinical practice, including HIPAA compliance, licensure requirements, and professional ethics (such as confidentiality, informed consent, and record-keeping).
Part-time status: Minimum 15 billable clinical hours per week, no more than 20 hours.
Full-time status: Minimum 20 billable clinical hours per week.
Must possess critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Highly organized and inclusive in working with clients, families, and the community.
Pay:
$36-150 per full-fee clinical hour — Dependent upon experience, qualifications, service provided (e.g., group, individual, family), and PT/FT status.
$30-117 per sliding scale hour — You set your lowest sliding scale fee available and choose how many sliding scale spaces you offer, up to 3. Dependent upon experience, qualifications, service provided (e.g., group, individual, family), and PT/FT status.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
Have experience and a desire to work with children, teens, parents, families, and adults.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of ethical decision-making in clinical practice, especially in areas like confidentiality, dual relationships, working with minors, and mandated reporting.
Understand and comply with state licensure laws, continuing education requirements, and other relevant legal guidelines.
Have previous training in DBT skills or group facilitation, or other certifications like CBT, ACT, ERP, EMDR, IFS, Gottman, etc.
Provide client care from a biopsychosocial framework, utilize a trauma-informed approach, and work from an anti-diet and HAES (Health at Every Size) perspective.
Display strong clinical and ethical judgment when determining treatment plans and providing therapeutic interventions.
Preference will be given to fully licensed clinicians who are trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Experience with diverse client populations, particularly teens and adults experiencing emotional regulation challenges, trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, and/or eating disorders.
Experience working with clients diagnosed with co-morbid disorders and who struggle with suicidality and self-harm behaviors.
A desire to treat complex mood and anxiety disorders from a DBT framework, and potentially integrate other modalities (CBT, ACT, ERP, EMDR, etc.).
Strong relational and collaborative approach with clients and treatment team members.
Capacity to think critically and practice with ethical decision-making, aligned with licensure requirements and current laws.
Ability to effectively manage crisis situations, including thorough risk assessment for suicidality and non-suicidal self-injury, while ensuring appropriate referrals to crisis services when needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide virtual and on-site clinical services to clients of Healgood as scheduled, in accordance with company policies.
Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines that apply to clinical practice in the state of Texas.
Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain client confidentiality as mandated by law and Healgood’s policies.
Timely communication and coordinatation with clients and/or treatment teams.
Complete and maintain all client documentation (notes, treatment plans, progress notes) in a timely manner, typically within 24 hours of each session.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date caseload log.
Meet minimum caseload and attend required meetings, trainings, and supervision as needed.
Support the mission and reputation of Healgood by conducting professional services in a manner that aligns with ethical standards and company values.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical mental health experience is required.
Must have an active license in good standing with the state of Texas. A copy of the license must be provided to Healgood.
Knowledge of state laws regarding licensure, and commitment to maintaining continuing education and legal/ethical obligations.
Strong organizational, communication, and clinical skills, with an ability to engage clients meaningfully from the first consultation through termination.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
